As UX Designers, we aim to create a positive user experience through intrinsic motivation. The AIDA model is designed to decrease time-to-value. My interest in UXD continues to strengthen, as I begin to grasp and understand UXD concepts and principles as the course progresses.
As a UX Designer, it is important to focus on Interest and Desire of the AIDA model. Interest and Desire are the components that will spark intrinsic motivation that lead to Action. Breaking these components down into two separate entities, Interest can be expressed through effective find-ability, discoverability, and visibility methods for good UX design. How easy it to find elements/concepts of your branding website? Diving deeper, intrinsic motivation is expressed through product description, product benefits, and more.
Desire can be expressed through using social media tactics that show off the product/design through marketing promotion or even through public relations. Desires explores the concept of getting the user to want the product/service being offered.
